PURPOSE: A mechanical seal assembly is provided to improve endurance and quality of a mechanical seal even if the mechanical seal is used for a long period of time by using a magnet as a pressing unit. CONSTITUTION: A mechanical seal assembly includes a fixing seal(34), and a movable seal(35). The movable seal(35) has a collar(37) and a seal ring(39). The collar(37) is fixed by means of a shaft(32) and a set screw(36) so as to rotate together with the shaft(32). The seal ring(39) has a seal surface(38). A pressing unit(40) is provided to push the seal ring(39) toward a floating ring(33). The seal ring(39) is rotated together with the collar(37) by means of a driving unit(41). The pressing unit(40) includes a plurality of magnetic holes, magnets(47,48), a driving pin(50), and a bending section formed at one end of the driving pin(50).
