PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the cross section profile measurement device of a tube which can measure the cross section profile of the tube with a high accuracy, enabling to obtain the exact profile of the tube without having an influence from a pig body posture and the temperature of a fluid within the tube. SOLUTION: The device comprises the pig body 7 mounted with an inspection pig 5, a plurality of the range finders 11 which are arranged opposite to the circumference of the pig body 7 to measure a rotation distance by contacting rotation to the inside surface of the tube 3, the plurality of the vortex type range finders 17 which are set at the circumference of the pig body 7, and a cross section profile calculation means which obtains the cross section profile of the tube 3 based on the measurement value of the vortex type range finder 17. The center position of the tube 3 is obtained by measuring the deviation of the center of the inspection pig 5 in a particular position inside the tube 3 by running the inspection pig 5 within the tube 3. Further, the cross section profile of the tube is obtained by measuring the inner diameter of the tube 3, then an information that the tube has locally a flat portion can be acquired.
