发明名称 ROTARY VISCOSIMETER USING DIRECT DRIVE MOTOR
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized inexpensive rotary viscometer having a simple structure and an excellent transmission efficiency of a rotary motion, and drivable with high angle resolution. SOLUTION: The external cylinder 6 of a coaxial double cylinder 5 of this rotation viscometer 1 is gripped by a gripping device 11 fixed on the rotating shaft of a step motor 12, and the step motor 12 is driven by a current from a current amplifier 22 to thereby rotate the external cylinder 6. A fluid 8 to be measured in the external cylinder 6 is rotated by rotation of the external cylinder 6, and the internal cylinder 7 placed therein is also rotated by the torque caused by viscosity of the fluid to be measured. The rotational position of a rod 14 by the torque is detected by a rotational position detector 15, and a control device 20 controls a current supplied to a coil of a torque application means 16 so as to return back the rotation to the original state, and the viscosity of the fluid to be measured is detected by the current.
