<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide an applicator which prevents the direct flow and back flow of ink by an easy means. <P>SOLUTION: In this applicator, a support member, which abuts on the backside of a leading-end ball of a tip and wherein a groove part is provided up to an appropriate depth in a required place at a front end, is provided ahead of an in-tip hole part; a guide cylinder part is formed in the rear step part of the support member; a valve chamber is formed in an almost central part in the rear of the groove part of the support member; a valve body supporting seat is formed at the back end of the valve chamber; a leading hole communicating backward is formed in the center of the valve chamber; a valve body, which is brought into close contact with the valve body supporting seat, is inserted into the valve chamber in a longitudinally movable manner; a resilient body for pressing the rear step part of the support member is provided in the in-tip hole part; a front end of the support member presses the backside of the leading-end ball by a resilient force of the resilient body; the leading-end ball is brought into close contact with an inner surface of a ball holding part at a front end of the tip; and an outer peripheral part of the guide cylinder part of the support member and an inner peripheral part of a tubular barrel part communicating with an ink storage tube can be brought into close contact with each other by an all-around seal protrusion which is provided in either of them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
