The invention relates to a method of supplying information to participants in a telephone conference call carried out using a telecommunication network (R1, R2, R3), a plurality of terminals (T1, T3) and a conference server (MCU). According to the invention, a data transmission link (D1, D2, D3, D4) is established between at least two terminals and a data server (PCC) that accesses the network, said data transmission link being independent of the communication link (A1, A2, A3, A4) used for the transmission of voice streams which is established between the relevant terminal and the conference server. The conference server analyses the streams received from the terminals during the conference in order to determine at least one pre-defined event relating to the progress of the conference and generates event identification data. The data server analyses the identification data, generates information relating to the identified events and transmits said information to the terminals for which a data transmission link has been established, via said data transmission link.
