PURPOSE: A system and a method for remotely controlling a wireless terminal by using an SMS(Short Message Service) are provided to enable a specific server system to remotely control an operation of a wireless terminal by using a short message, so that the wireless terminal can automatically receive various services provided through a data network. CONSTITUTION: A remote control server system(2) generates a short message including access information to a service server, in order to supply a specific service registered by a user of a wireless terminal(10) in connection with a data network(3). An SMS server system(4) transmits the short message to the wireless terminal(10). The wireless terminal(10) analyzes the short message to attempt accessing the service server designated by the short message, and automatically receives a service provided from the service server.
