PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cooling effect meeting the performance of cooling fans 66 and 67 of a structure for cooling the optical parts of a projector unit which introduces the light from a lamp unit 4 to a plurality of the optical parts and projects as video light. SOLUTION: This structure for cooling the optical parts has first and second cooling fans 66 and 67, a first flow passage arriving at a polarization beam splitter 24 and a sheet of liquid crystal panel 35 from the first cooling fan 66 and a second flow passage arriving at the remaining two sheets of the liquid crystal panels 32 and 38 from the second cooling fan 67. The respective flow passages have trunk line flow passage sections extending on straight lines and the cooling fans are installed in the uppermost stream positions of the trunk line flow passage sections. |
