PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of testing a superconductive cable line for evaluating the integrity of the superconductive cable line by a simple facility. SOLUTION: The method of testing the superconductive cable line comprises: continuously energizing a direct current of a prescribed energization pattern by a power supply 60 to the superconductive cable line having joints 30A-30C; and evaluating the integrity of each joint by measuring temperatures at each joint. Representatively, the method prepares a first superconductive cable line having no defect in the joint and obtains first correlation of an energization time and temperature increase of the joint when energizing a first direct current continuously having the prescribed energization pattern to the first superconductive cable line. Next, the method obtains second correlation of an energization time and a temerature increase of the joint when energizing a second direct current having the same energization pattern as the first direct current to a second superconductive cable line being a target of evaluating the integrity of the joint.
