PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of inspecting an inner face of a hollow part, capable of inspecting a flaw on the inner face even when an inside diameter is thin, and a device therefor. SOLUTION: In this method, a sealed space is formed by expanding a seal ring 2 to seal a measured part inside of the hollow part, after contracting the seal ring 2 provided in an insertion plug 1 and inserting it into the hollow part, the sealed space is pressurized or decompressed, and a leakage amount from the inside of the sealed space when pressurized or decompressed is measured to determine the flaw on the inner face of the hollow part. This device of the present invention includes the seal ring 2 freely expanded and contracted to seal the inside of the hollow part in the insertion plug 1 inserted into the hollow part, a sealing means 3 for expanding and contracting the seal ring 2, and a measuring means 4 for expanding or contracting the inside of the hollow part formed by the seal ring 2 and for measuring the leakage amount from the inside of the sealed space when pressurized or decompressed, to determine the flaw on the inner face of the hollow part, based on the leakage amount.
