PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device for a vehicle provided with a transmission which increases the number of speed stages without increasing the number of gears on a counter shaft. SOLUTION: The power transmission device for a vehicle is provided with the transmission M having at least one rotary center shaft 34 in addition to a main shaft 30 and the counter shaft 33. The main shaft 30 comprises a first main shaft 31 and a second main shaft 32, each turning relatively, a first driving gear MR is provided on the first main shaft 31, a second driving gear M2 is provided on the second main shaft 32, a driven gear C2 meshing with the second driving gear M2 is provided on the counter shaft 33, and the rotary shaft 34 is provided with: a third gear R2 meshing with the driven gear C2; and a fourth gear R1 meshing with the first driving gear MR.
