A spindle motor is provided to reduce vibration by offsetting eccentricity of a rotor yoke by moving a plurality of balls of an automatic balance device in an opposite direction of the eccentricity through a centrifugal force generated in rotation of a rotation axis and a rotor. A spindle motor includes a bearing housing(110), a bearing(120), a rotation axis(130), a stator(140), a rotor(150), and an automatic balance device(170). The bearing is fixed inside the bearing housing. The rotation axis is rotatably supported to the bearing. The stator includes a core(141) and a coil(145). The core is fixed to an outer surface of the bearing housing. The coil is wound around the core. The rotor includes a rotor yoke(151) and a magnet(155) and rotates by interaction with the rotor. The rotor yoke is fixed to the rotation axis. The magnet is coupled to the rotor yoke. The automatic balance device is coupled to the rotor yoke and reduces vibration due to eccentric rotation of the rotor yoke.
