PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder which can make the pressure of a pressure chamber a suitable pressure by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder 1 comprises inkjet heads 11-16, a main tank 25 which can store the ink, and a negative-pressure tank 30. When a potential pressure of the main tank 25 seen from a surface of an orifice plate 18 is made ph, a total channel resistance from the main tank 25 to the negative-pressure tank 30 is made R, a ratio of a channel resistance from the main tank 25 to a nozzle 17 and a channel resistance from the nozzle 17 to the negative-pressure tank 30 is made 1:r, and a flow rate of the ink circulated in a circulation passage 36 is made Q, their relationship is held to satisfy ph-äQR×(1/(1+r))}=Pn (Pn is a constant showing a proper meniscus pressure at the nozzle) at least when printing is carried out by ejecting the ink from the nozzle.
