PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a nitrogen oxide which is formed by the irradiation of electron rays into an irradiation chamber 30 from changing to a nitric acid. SOLUTION: The irradiation surface (an irradiation window 29b on which window foil 29b is attached) of an electron ray irradiation apparatus 28 is formed toward a container 2 which is carried by a container carrying apparatus 24, and the container 2 is sterilized by the irradiation of the electron rays. The irradiation chamber 30 which surrounds the irradiation surface of the electron ray irradiation apparatus 28 and the container 2 which is an irradiation object is installed. At the same time, a sterile chamber 32 is installed on the outlet side of the irradiation chamber 30. In addition, a dry air feeding means 80 which feeds dry sterile air to the irradiation chamber 30 is connected. By dehumidifying the inside of the irradiation chamber 30 which is irradiated with the electron rays, the transformation of the nitrogen oxide to the nitric acid is suppressed, and metal sections are prevented from being corroded.
