METHOD FOR MODELING MESH TITANIUM IMPLANTS FOR CLOSING COMPLEX INTRAOPERATIONAL BONE DEFECTS OF CRANIOFACIAL AREA IN NEUROONCOLOGICAL PATIENTS

A method for modeling the mesh titanium implants for closing the complex intraoperational bone defects of craniofacial area in neurooncological patients provides for the use of the skull model prepared by stereolithographic technique preoperatively with the imaginary surgery and following reconstruction. The implant is used for replacing the defects of the supraorbital ridges, the nasal bones, and the frontal bone and is fastened with the aid of the screws around the bone defect.
