An image forming apparatus includes a cover main body, a turning axis and a sub-cover. The cover main body constitutes at least a part of a vertical wall face of an image forming apparatus main body and constitutes at least a part of a top face wall of the image forming apparatus main body. The turning axis supports turnably the cover main body around a turning fulcrum near a lower end at the vertical wall face side. The sub-cover is configured to be openable/closable at least a part of the top face wall in the cover main body. The cover main body is turned so as to open an area from at least a part of the vertical wall face of the image forming apparatus main body to at least a part of the top face wall of the image forming apparatus main body. |
