PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display unit capable of securely holding a display panel inside a cabinet, allowing easy prevention of an excessive stress acting on the display panel.SOLUTION: A display panel is housed inside a front cabinet 2. The front cabinet 2 has a frame part 21 and a window part 22 formed therein. Supporting projections 23a, 23b, 23c are formed at three locations of the frame part 21. The display panel is pressed to and held at the supporting projections 23a, 23b, 23c, by an elastic member. As support points (a), (b), (c) by the supporting projections 23a, 23b, 23c are at three locations, the display panel is securely held with minimum restraint locations. The support points (b), (c) are arranged higher than a corner part, so that the center of gravity G of a supporting triangle can be set closer to the center of gravity of the display panel, and an excessive restraint force can be prevented from acting on the corner part of the display panel. |
