Disclosed is a method for forming a fiber-reinforced plastic using resin transfer molding, and a molding apparatus. One or more resin discharge ports are formed in a central portion of a cavity area on the top surface of any one of an upper mold or a lower mold, the resin discharge ports are formed on multiple points of an edge area of the cavity area, and a mold is used which is symmetrically arranged with respect to one or more of the resin discharge ports. A fiber material is placed into the cavity and the cavity is placed under a vacuum. A liquid resin mixture is simultaneously injected into the cavity through a plurality of resin injection ports. Consequently, the liquid resin mixtures injected through each of the resin injection ports are impregnated into the fiber material and thereby move toward the center portion of the cavity to ultimately meet in a resin destination area including the resin discharge port. In a state in which the inside of the cavity is completely filled with the liquid resin mixture, in order to discharge pores present in the resin destination area through the resin discharge port, a resin discharge tube connected to the resin discharge port is blocked and additional pressure is applied to the cavity. The generation of pores in the resin mixture is minimized through a rapid increase in temperature by increasing the temperature of the resin mixture in two separate stages. |
