PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile body structure capable of sufficiently strike-slip deforming a vehicle body by surely generating a strike slip load at a highly rigid frame tip at the time of offset collision such as small overlapping collision.SOLUTION: The automobile body structure includes a frame 15 extending in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle on a vehicle side part, and is characterized in that a branch member 34 is provided to extend from the end part of the frame 15 to the outside in a vehicle width direction and in a tip direction, the tip of the branch member 34 and the tip of the frame 15 are connected to each other by a connection part 37 deformable in the vehicle width direction, and a vehicle width direction load absorption part 35 is provided on the frame 15 side of the vehicle longitudinal direction middle part of the branch member 34 and separated from the frame 15 to absorb a load in the vehicle width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
