PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression device of an electric wire connection sleeve which is suitable to use on the ground with a gradient or in the state of being lifted up into the air, and which facilitates the movement operation of a compression head.SOLUTION: A compression device 1 comprises a compression head 2, holding means 3 of an electric wire and a compression sleeve W, movement means 4 of the compression head 2 and a base member 5 supporting these. The movement means 4 includes a rail frame 7 supporting a guide rail 6, and a mobile truck 8 traveling on the rail 6 with the compression head 2 loaded thereon. The rail frame 7 supports the rail 6 at a prescribed height position on the base member 5. The base member 5 includes working scaffold spaces 9 along the rail 6 on both sides of the rail frame 7, and a locking part 11 for connecting a lifting cord 10 of a lifting device. The mobile truck 8 includes a truck frame 12, wheels 37, a brake member 13 braking the mobile truck 8 with frictional engagement with the rail 6, and a brake control lever 14 controlling the brake member 13 with the seesaw motion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
