The present invention relates to a linear motor coil and a mold for manufacturing the same. The linear motor coil is used in a linear motor and comprises: one or more unit coils each provided with a main body allowing a current to flow therethrough to generate a magnetic field and a first hollow space formed in the main body, and arranged in a longitudinal direction; a power supply cable wherein one end thereof is electrically connected to the unit coils and the other end thereof is connected to an external power source; an outer skin member comprising a synthetic resin and enclosing the unit coils and one end of the power supply cable; and a second hollow space which is a hole penetrating the outer skin member and is arranged on a position corresponding to the first hollow space. According to the present invention, an overall weight is reduced in comparison to a case where the second hollow space is not formed. The linear motor coil can be used in a linear motor required to start at a high speed and high acceleration. |
