PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of identifying a person currently using a computer device and sending identification information specific to the person even when there are multiple users of the computer device.SOLUTION: A fingerprint authentication mouse is coupled to a networked computer device before use. The fingerprint authentication mouse includes a storage unit 22 that stores fingerprint images in association with identification information (site-requested information), a fingerprint reading image sensor 12 for acquiring fingerprint images, and a controller 11 configured to perform personal authentication by comparing an acquired fingerprint image with fingerprint images stored in the storage unit 22. Upon successful authentication, identification information stored in the storage unit 22 in association with a fingerprint image used for the authentication is transmitted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
