TIME MEASUREMENT CIRCUIT AND TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT INCLUDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor circuit that includes a time measurement circuit capable of measuring time successfully even if target time to be measured varies widely.SOLUTION: A temperature sensor circuit 1 includes: an oscillation circuit 2 that generates a low-speed clock signal CLK1 and a high-speed clock signal CLK2; a delay circuit 4 that generates a delay signal S2 for which delay time has temperature-dependent properties; and a delay time measurement circuit 5 that measures delay time of the delay signal S2 on the basis of the clock number of the low-speed clock signal CLK1 or high-speed clock signal CLK2 to be output from the oscillation circuit 2. The oscillation circuit 2 switches from the low-speed clock signal CLK1 to the high-speed clock signal CLK2 and then outputs the switched one when time after starting measurement of the delay time reaches a set value. The set value is calculated by subtracting a prescribed value from a value at the time of using only the low-speed clock signal CLK1 to temporarily measure the delay time beforehand.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
