PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accommodate a multiplicity of communication devices in a network which provides a service chain.SOLUTION: A management device 20 includes: a control unit 30, including an acquisition unit 31, for managing the network including the plurality of communication devices; and a transmitter unit 22. For each of the plurality of communication devices, the acquisition unit 31 acquires the combination of a packet processing type executed in each communication device and a packet processing type executed in a transfer destination. The control unit 30 classifies each of the plurality of communication devices into a plurality of groups according to the acquired combination. Further, the control unit 30 sets a sub-network in which a first group including a first communication device is connected to a second group including a second communication device which receives a packet from the first communication device. The transmitter unit 22 transmits a control packet, which includes information to perform communication using the subnetwork, to each of the first and second communication devices.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
