PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall detection terminal capable of performing a high-accuracy fall determination.SOLUTION: A fall detection terminal 1 comprises an acceleration sensor 2 and a fall monitoring unit 15. The acceleration sensor 2 detects the movement of the fall detecting terminal to output acceleration data. The fall monitoring unit 15 includes an impact detection part 16, a fall detection part 17, and a fall determination part 18. The impact detection part 16 detects an impact generated in the fall detection terminal 1 from the acceleration data to calculate an impact evaluation value indicating a fall possibility on the basis of the impact. The fall detection part 17 detects fall characteristics, from the acceleration data, appearing when the fall detection terminal freely falls and calculates a fall evaluation value indicating a fall possibility on the basis of the fall characteristics. The fall determination part 18 determines whether a user is falling or not, on the basis of a comprehensive evaluation value in which the impact evaluation value and the fall evaluation value are comprehensively evaluated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
