The dryer has a drum (2) arranged in a housing (1). A blower (7) produces a process air flow for drying laundry. A fluff filter filters fluffs from the process air flow. A suction nozzle, fluff separator (11), a separating device (12) and a fluff container (13) remove the fluffs from the filter. The fluff separator separates the sucked fluffs. A rotational axis (3) of the fluff separator is arranged in a boundary box, which is defined by the drum. Lateral side surfaces and upper and lower side surfaces of the box tangentially contact the drum. |
