PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system that enables a portable terminal device other than a portable terminal device registered and permitted to use a function of an image processing apparatus to temporarily use the function, while ensuring security.SOLUTION: When a user's operation from a second portable terminal device 32 to request permission of temporary use of a function of an image processing apparatus 1 is received, an image processing system communicates with the second portable terminal device 32 to acquire information on an application installed in the terminal 32. The image processing system determines a temporary use permission range of the function of the image processing apparatus 1 for the second portable terminal device 32 on the basis of data for determination of a use permission range stored in a management device and information on the application acquired from the second portable terminal device 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
