PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move mist generated in conjunction with discharge of a liquid from a discharge part from a movement area of a carriage, which has the discharge part for discharging the liquid to a medium and can move in a reciprocating movement direction, by a simple structure.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device 1 includes a carriage 6 which has a discharge part 7 for discharging a liquid to a medium and can move in a reciprocating movement direction B, a casing 12 which covers a movement area 18 of the carriage 6, and an air flow receiving chamber 13 which receives air flows W1 and W2 generated by reciprocating movement of the carriage 6. Mist can be moved from the movement area of the carriage 6 by the liquid discharge device 1 of such a simple structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
