PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a first electrode and a second electrode from contacting in an illumination device including a layer which contains a luminescent material that is held between the first electrode and the second electrode.SOLUTION: The first electrode includes a first region that is overlapped with a layer containing a luminescent material, and a second region that is not overlapped with the layer containing the luminescent material. The second electrode includes a third region that is overlapped with a layer containing the luminescent material, and a fourth region that is not overlapped with the layer containing the luminescent material. The second region is provided at a position that is not overlapped with the fourth region, and an edge of the first region and an edge of the third region are disposed inside of the layer containing the luminescent material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 |
