PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the estimation of a cavity thickness and the calculation of a corrosion rate, in a simple process.SOLUTION: A reinforcement bar corrosion property evaluating method comprises: heating reinforced concrete with electromagnetic induction heat for a predetermined time; measuring the temperature of a surface of concrete; obtaining temperature information of the surface of the concrete changing with time; calculating a cavity thickness in the concrete on the basis of a difference between arrival times to a maximum temperature of the surface of the concrete; calculating a correction value of a temperature rise amount that is obtained by removing the effect of the temperature rise amount reduced in accordance with the cavity thickness; calculating a corrosion rate of a reinforcement bar, by using the maximum temperature of the surface of the concrete in a state where the reinforcement bar does not corrode and a maximum temperature of the correction value of the temperature rise amount obtained in a correction rise amount calculating step; and performing reinforcement bar corrosion property evaluation, on the basis of the obtained calculation value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
