PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a roof structure capable of widely securing an interval between a plurality of support members for supporting a roof backing plate, and capable of also installing a roof material to the roof backing plate in an aesthetic appearance-excellent and installation strength-secured state.SOLUTION: A roof structure 100 comprises a plurality of support members 1, a roof backing plate 2 and a roof material 3, and also comprises a suspender 80 for fixing a part of the roof material 3 to the roof backing plate 2, a suspender 81 for fixing the other part of the roof material 3 to the roof backing plate 2, a first fixture 6 for fixing the suspender 80 to the support members 1 via the roof backing plate 2 and a second fixture 7 for fixing the suspender 81 to the roof backing plate 2. The roof backing plate 2 is a sandwich panel 20 for arranging a core material between a pair of metal skins. The length of the first fixture 6 is the length of reaching the support members 1 by penetrating through the sandwich panel 20.
