The examples describe the ammoxidation of propylene using a feed of propylene / ammonia / oxygen / nitrogen / steam molar ratio 1.8/2.2/3.6/2.4/6, a contact time of 3 seconds, a WWH of 0-10 and a temperature of 420‹ C., and the ammoxidation of isobutylene with a feed of isobutylene/ammonia/air/steam of 1/1.2 or 1.5/11/4 at a temperature of 400‹ C.
