PURPOSE: A plasma display apparatus is provided to improve heat release efficiency by forming an air cooling unit for enabling outside air to flow between a rear substrate and a chassis base. CONSTITUTION: A circuit board(50a) of a circuit unit(50) is placed on a rear surface of a chassis base(40). For placing the circuit board, a boss(40d) is formed on the rear surface of the chassis base. The circuit board is arranged on an upper surface of the boss. In order to release heat of the circuit board, a cover(50b) for the circuit board is installed on a rear surface of the circuit board. A screw(60) is coupled to the boss so that the circuit board and the cover are fixed on the chassis base. A flow path(40c) of the outside air is formed on the circuit unit of the chassis base.
