<p>The invention relates to a closure for a container of the type having an application surface. The problem associated with closures of applicator type containers is that the closure can be lost and it is hard to manipulate the container with one hand while holding the closure in the other. A closure (10') having a body (20') with an orifice (54') and a cover (60') hinged to the body. The body has a smooth applicator surface (30') around the orifice. The cover has an inwardly projecting sealing protrusion (80') for entering into the orifice when the cover is in the closed position. The body and cover together define a latch (54'), (80').</p> |
