PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for disposing sludge, which separates moisture from sludge by using air floatation and heat energy without using cohesive agents and dries the moisture, and a method for disposing the sludge using the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A pump is connected to one side of a sludge concentration tank (13) and supplies fermented sludge concentrate to inside of the apparatus through an inflow pipe. A sludge separating device (A) is connected with the inflow pipe. Filtrate separated by the sludge separating device passes through a ceramic filter and then is discharged through a solution drainpipe. The remaining sludge other than the filtrate separated by the sludge is flown in a drying device (B) through a sludge moving pipe, is dried by a hot-blast supplying pipe connected to a ventilator of a heating part, and then discharged by a screw. Odor or steam generated by drying is discharged through a fan (124).
