The invention relates to a device for ensuring the sealing of an arrow-type projectile between a shoe (2) provided with a tapping (14) and a threaded penetrator (1) fitted in the tapping with respect to combustion gasses. It is characterised in that it is constituted by an elastomer element (4) applied on the rear part of the shoe and comprising a lip (6) bearing elastically on the penetrator. The elastomer element (4) is obtained by overmoulding on the shoe (2) and an insert (7) engaged in the latter, and has a Shore hardness of greater than or equal to 70 and an extension before fracture of less than or equal to 250%.
