PURPOSE:To reduce the lowering of critical temp. at which electric resistance becomes zero and the lowering of critical current density due to the application of a magnetic field by firing a powdery mixture prepd. by adding a prescribed percentage of Pt to powders of Bi, Sr, Ca and Cu. CONSTITUTION:Pt is added to powders of Bi, Sr, Ca and Cu and they are uniformly mixed and fired to obtain an oxide superconductor contg. 0.1-2wt.% Pt based on the amt. of the total compsn. in an oxide based on Bi, Sr, Ca and Cu. |
