PURPOSE:To enable a constituent of a plurality of kinds of mixed gases to be detected by one gas detection device. CONSTITUTION:Temperature is controlled based on a voltage which is obtained by converting a temperature of a semiconductor laser element 20 which oscillates a laser beam where a wavelength changes according to temperature by a thermocouple 37. Then, the temperature of the semiconductor laser element 20 is controlled based on a voltage corresponding to a wavelength which can be selected according to an absorption wavelength of a gas within a cell 21, thus enabling a laser beam with a plurality of different wavelengths to be oscillated by using the semiconductor laser element 20 and constituents of the mixed gas to be detected. |
