<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a timing signal from a timing signal generator stably without interruption even on the occurrence of a fault. SOLUTION: Plural timing signal generators each provided with line drivers 10a, 10b share a task applying a timing signal 14 to a load 16. The line drivers 10a, 10b have a drive capability required by the timing signal 14 or over and the amplitude of the timing signal 14 is adjusted by voltage clamps 22a, 22b. When either of the timing signal generating sections is faulty, the other signal generator not out of order is in charge of a task to supply power to the load 16 so as to supply power required to maintain the timing signal without interruption and without external disturbance in the amplitude, the phase and the shape of the pulse.</p> |
