<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a same frequency synthesizer to supply a transmission modulation use local oscillation signal and a reception 2nd local oscillation signal in the mobile equipment operated in plural mobile communication systems using different radio frequency bands. SOLUTION: A frequency synthesizer is made up of a voltage controlled oscillator 32 and a frequency division/distribution section 33 consisting of frequency dividers 41, 42, 44, 45 and switches 43, 46 switched depending on in which mobile communication system the radio equipment is in operation. An output of the voltage controlled oscillator 32 is frequency-divided by the frequency division/distribution section 33 and branched and outputted as a transmission modulation use local oscillation signal and a reception 2nd local oscillation signal. These local oscillation signals are inputted to an orthogonal modulator 13 and an orthogonal demodulator 27, in which modulation/demodulation processing is conducted.</p> |
