A process for the coating of a workpiece (1) with a preferably powdery, pastelike or liquid coating medium to produce a homogenous coating of workpieces with varying starting materials is characterized by the following steps. The workpiece which is to be coated is made available and, if required, cleaned. Then the workpiece (1) is prewarmed at a temperature higher than the coating temperature. After that the workpiece (1) is coated with the coating medium, whereupon the workpiece is cooled down to the coating temperature. Finally the coating medium can react or harden in the form of an applied surface layer if this did not fully occur previously. |
