发明名称 METHOD FOR MAGNETIZING SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a shape memory alloy combining magnetic force and shape recovering force by a simple method using an inexpensive stock by annealing a ferrous shape memory alloy for a time in a specified range in the air or in the water vapor of an atmospheric temp. in a specified range. SOLUTION: A ferrous shape memory alloy is annealed for 2 to 3 hr in the air of 700 to 800 deg.C atmospheric temp. Alternatively, a method for oxidizing a ferrous shape memory alloy is applied, that is, the ferrous shape memory alloy is annealed for 1 to 2 hr in the water-vapor of 700 to 800 deg.C atmospheric temp. Further as another alternative method, the ferrous shape-memory alloy of a thin strip-shaped material of 40 to 100μthickness is annealed for 2 to 10 min in the air of 700 to 800 deg.C atmospheric temp. As mentioned above, when the ferrous shape memory alloy is annealed for a prescribed time in the air or in the water vapor of 700 to 800 deg.C, an oxidizing layer is formed on the surface of the shape memory alloy by heat. Since the oxidizing layer has ferromagnetism, the shape memory alloy in which the oxidizing layer is formed is easily absorbed on a magnet.
