PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color printer device with which stable print-out can be provided without troubling a user even when printing plural editions. SOLUTION: Each time printed paper is ejected, its output image is read by a scanner 4 provided at the paper eject port of a printer. A histogram generating part 5 generates respective image histograms in RGB from that read image and writes the image histogram of the first print image into a memory 6. A comparator part 7 compares the image histogram after second one with the first image histogram stored in the memory 6. When there is a difference as a result of that comparison, a printerγsetting value generating part 8 generates the setting value of each printerγin the case of performing gamma transformation to CMYK data through a printer engine 3 so as to be close to the first image histogram. This generated setting value is fed back to the printer engine 3.
