LIGNEOUS CEMENT BOARD AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a ligneous cement board whose physical properties such as strength do not deteriorate but are contrarily improved even when the amt. of a lignocellulose-base ligneous material added is increased. SOLUTION: The ligneous cement board consists of 45-80 pts.wt. cement type inorg. powder, 0-25 pts.wt. fine silica powder and 10-35 pts.wt. reinforcing material contg. 5-100 wt.% splinters of a blasted or digested ligneous material. A molding material is compacted and subjected to successive primary hardening and secondary hardening to produce the ligneous cement board.
