<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an easy passing of the subject structure through a bent portion of an inner cavity of a patient's body by providing a structure with a compressible bellows that constitutes a part between opposite ends of a tube member, has a resistance against its bending in the direction across an axis, and has a reaction against its compression and extension along the axis. SOLUTION: This structure 10 is composed of an oblong and soft tube member 12 made of polymer that can be accepted in organism and be collapsed therein. The tube member 12 has a longitudinal axis 18 extending between opposite ends. A part of the tube member 12 is constituted of a bellows 20 having a repeated wavy shape and pitches P in at least 50% of its length preferably. Accordingly, this structure 10 is so soft that it can easily pass through a long zigzagged path and expand to meet the diameter of an inner cavity of a patient, and increases its rigidity in the axitial direction after it is arranges so that it can resist against hydrostatic pressure and compression pressure.</p> |
