PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor cost and man-hours in disposing a device by facilitating forced discharge of a battery. SOLUTION: This gas safety device comprises: a gas valve 2 for cutting off a gas passage; a control circuit 3 for controlling the gas valve 2; a lithium battery 5 for supplying power to the control circuit 3 and the gas valve 2; and a battery discharge part 6 composed of a resistor 7 and solder lands 8 having two electrodes opposed to each other. Based on this configuration, forced discharged can be performed by soldering the solder lands 8.
