PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-protection film for metal plate having moderate tackiness and adhesivity and excellent peelability, leaving no clouding and residual adhesive on the metal surface after peeling and incinerable after use. SOLUTION: This surface-protection film for metal plate has an adhesive layer formed on one surface of a polyolefin resin substrate. The adhesive is produced by adding 5-20 pts.wt. of anα-methylstyrene resin to 100 pts.wt. of a hydrogenated resin of an elastomer composed of a styrene compound polymer block and a styrene-diene random copolymer block.
