摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unevenness in the speed of the toothed belt of a toothed belt transmission device used in business equipment, such as a printer and a duplicator and to improve printing quality of the business equipment and image quality. SOLUTION: A belt tooth part 11 comprises dedendums 12 and 12 formed of an arcuate surface situated symmetrically about a central line C2 in the direction of a tooth width; power transmission parts 13 and 13 continued to the dedendums 12 and 12 consisting of a protrusion arcuate surface formed symmetrically to the central line C2 in the direction of tooth width; addendum parts 14 and 14 continued to the two transmission parts 13 and 13 and two addendum parts 14 and 14 formed of an arcuate surface formed symmetrically about the central line C2 in the direction of the width of the tooth; and an addendum surface 15 approximately in a plane to interconnect the addendum parts 14 and 14. A maximum pressure angleθB at a connection part between the power transmission part 13 and the dedendum part 12 is set toθB=15-25 deg.. During engagement, the side of the belt tooth part 11 is brought into delay contact with the side of the pulley tooth groove part, and the component in a vertical direction of a reaction force generated when the belt tooth part 11 slips in th pulley tooth groove part is decreased.
