PURPOSE:To eliminate color slurring due to a dot deviation when a main body system and an optical writing system operate asynchronously in constitution wherein one photosensitive body and one transfer drum are provided to obtain a multicolor recording image. CONSTITUTION:Plural light sources for recording are provided shifting in specific position relation and optical writing is performed by selecting one of the light sources according to time differences t0-t3 between the position signal HP from the photosensitive body and the synchronizing signal Det.P of the optical writing system so that a recording beam LD4, LD2, LD1, or LD3 is formed at a position which is precedent in a subscanning direction by a quantity corresponding to the time from the position signal HP to one line period T, thereby suppressing the quantity of the dot deviation to 1/(number of light sources). |
