OPHTHALMIC LIQUID PREPARATION AND LIQUID PREPARATION FOR CONTACT LENS

An ophthalmic liquid preparation and a liquid preparation for contact lens, characterized by containing a cationic polymer represented by the general formula [1]. In the formula, R is C2-6 heteroalkylene or hydroxylated heteroalkylene; Y is C2-10 alkylene; A<-> is an anion; and n is 40 to 500. [1] These liquid preparations contain the cationic polymer which has effective bactericidal and antibacterial properties in a lower concentration than conventional cationic polymers. The liquid preparations are lowly irritant and highly safe for the ocular mucosa.
