POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE, DIFFERENTIAL DEVICE, POWER DISTRIBUTION DEVICE, AND HUB DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device which is miniaturized, high in reliability and long in lifetime.

SOLUTION: A differential device 100 as a power transmission device comprises a drive shaft 11, a differential case 19 having an opening part 19k opened facing the drive shaft 11, constant velocity universal joints 41 and 42 connected to the drive shaft 11, and side gears 17 and 18 connected to the drive shafts 11 and 12 with the constant velocity universal joints 41 and 42 interposed therebetween. Outer races 11a and 12a of the constant velocity universal joints 41 and 42 are formed on the side gears 17 and 18. The outer races 11a and 12a are arranged to cover the opening part 19k.
